A Message From Meg

 

Having a new palette of Shetland Wool colors is indeed inspiring. I have plucked a large bouquet of shades and am happily plotting new projects and experimenting with new techniques.

Sheila MacGregor's two splendid pattern-motif books are at my elbow (Traditional Fair isle Knitting and Traditional Scandinavian Knitting), along with Joyce Williams' Latvian Dreams and Lizbeth Upitis' Latvian Mittens.

Nearly unlimited shades of wool and an equal number of color-motifs from which to choose; what more could a knitter (at least, this knitter) want?
