With apologies -- open this pdf for correction to lace chart from 2006 Vogue
Treasury of Knitting
With apologies -- On Page 285, Cathedral Pattern: on row 29, the final 'p4' should read p5
Armenian Knitting
With apologies -- Armenian Knitting, page 10, last paragraph on right side column:
Repeat from *, with two stitches fewer between decreases, until 5 stitches remain.
WG 77-Double V-Vest
With apologies -- the chart in WG#77 has some un-necessary purl stitches
stuck in.
Row 4 and 8 plus their repeat on rows 12 and 20: please eliminate
the tiny purl stitches at the cross-over points. There are Kb stitches
crossing over Kb stitches, so no purls are displaced.
Knitting Lace DVD
Please note: The insert is an accompaniment to the DVD and not meant as stand alone instructions.
With apologies, there are errors in chart section D for the Primula Mañanita:
Line 1: there should not be a knit stitch at the beginning; please eliminate it and begin: yo, dbl dec, yo.
Line 5: there should be a grey (no stitch) square each side of the 1st and
3rd dbl dec.
And, corrections on the Peacock chart:
Round numbers 40 and 42 have been transposed on the right hand edge
On rows 28 and 30 the two center stitches
between the motifs should be greyed out as the others above and below.
Please replace the insert stole chart
with this corrected stole chart.

Knitting Workshop, 2005 edition
To celebrate the 14th printing of Elizabeth Zimmermann's Knitting Workshop book (nearly 25 years in continuous print), I added directions for knitting the Epaulet Jacket (photo on page 96), to pages 165 and 170.
Alas ... there is a chunk missing from the instructions. This is corrected in the 15th printing.
Please print out the following and add it to the bottom of page 165.
"SADDLES: *From R'hand side of tab K up 8 (8, 9, 9,10, 10) sts and a further 8 (9, 9, 10, 10, 11) sts from neck.
K 16 (17, 18, 19, 20, 21) Ridges on these sts.
K up 1 stitch for each Ridge along back of saddle.
K across tab, and repeat from * for L'hand saddle.
K up 1 st for each R along front of this saddle + 1 st from neck.
Work back, knitting up 1 st from neck.
Turn.
K off 1 neck st at end of each row until 8 (9, 9, 10, 10) sts remain;
then knit them all off at once."
with abject apologies...

Fourth Treasury of Knitting Patterns
Two mistakes have been found by Katharine Hunt (thank you very much) in Barbara Walker's Fourth Treasury of Knitting Patterns. These errors have been corrected in later editions.
Please note in your copy:
Page 218, Floral Mesh. Row 6: k1, yo, dbl dec, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, ssk, yo, dbl dec, yo, k1. (the k2tog, yo had been omitted...)
p 235, Swag Lace. Rows 10, 12, 14, 16: the second stitch from the right should have an X in it (no stitch) -- and the penultimate stitch on the left side -- same thing -- an X for no stitch.
Also - on page 145 there is reference to a "Diagram 10", which does not exist. Instead, please refer to the 80 Cable Crossings in the front of the book (pages xxiii through xxvi).
Opinionated Knitter
(The Adult Surprise is corrected in the 2nd printing.)
1. Some text is missing from page 41 as follows:
The Opinionated Knitter, page 41. At the bottom of the middle column, it should read, "Some very tightly-twisted wools seem to make no pills at all." And the cut-line under the adjacent photo is a Modular Tomten.
2. On page 112 of The Opinionated Knitter:
At the end of the right-hand column, I inadvertently omitted instructions for the neck - plus tips on when to stop knitting! With apologies
Decrease by Slip 1, K2tog, Psso. Keep the center stitch constant. When you have decreased 2 x [K] stitches at each point and are down to 5 x [K] stitches, you are at the underarm.
Now Change Tactics: at the two points (A and B), INCrease 2 stitches every 2nd row by Make 1 on either side of the marked stitch. This will reverse the angle. Keep the center stitch constant. When you are back at the number of stitches you started with (9 x [K]), you are at the neck sides, C and D. Put 3 inches worth of stitches on pieces of wool at either end and continue working the increases at A and B until the center-section (between A and B) is 6 x [K] or twice the wanted width of the sweater. continue on these center stitches only, leaving the end stitches (E - A and F - B) on pieces of wool; they are the center-front stitches.
Work without shaping until the total length from C - G and D -H is about 1" shy of that of your favorite sweater. You are now at the lower corners of the center-front, G and H. NEARLY DONE
3. The 3-spiral Dairy Queen Hat on page 96 has an error in the righthand column, 7 lines down.
It should read: (P1, P2tog twice, K15, M1) 3 times.
