Workshop Description:

Techniques covered include:

Swatching for lace

Following lace charts

Reading your knitting to see if you're on target

Repairing mistakes in lace

Blocking lace

As always, with Meg and Amy, the class can go in almost any knitting direction.

General workshop information is below.

Dear Knitters,

Schoolhouse Press is now offering one workshop each fall in addition to our regular summer knitting camps/retreats. Meg Swansen and Amy Detjen co-teach the fall workshop which is based on a different topic each year.

We limit workshops to 25 participants, so each knitter will have ample opportunity to ask questions and receive individual feedback. We held a variety of workshops with different themes from 2007 to 2012, and we look forward to welcoming a group of knitters in fall of 2013.

The workshops take place at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin where we hold our summer knitting camps. The workshop includes an afternoon visit to the Schoolhouse Press warehouse to shop and explore "The Sweater Room," where all the knitted treasures of EZ and MS are stored.
