Medrith's Corner - From the archives of The Wool Room
Medrith Glover is a familiar name in a number of knitting circles. For decades she owned and operated The Wool Room in Quincy, CA, and hosted annual knitting retreats for nearly as long. Her timeless designs have appeared in numerous magazines, and she specialized in stylish sweaters for large sizes. Her most well-known design, the unique Circumnavigated Cardigan, reads like a novel and has been happily knitted by scores of people. Medrith is the daughter of Emily Ocker, whose famous cast-on is so vital to beginning a circular shawl. Here in Medrith's Corner, we offer her innovative design collection in its original format; conveniently converted to PDF. Medrith also offered knitters some free patterns to download.
